We are proudly New Zealand Owned and Operated, serving Aotearoa for over 20 years.
 
Ikon started up in 2004.  At that stage we were closely aligned to the kitchen industry through another family-run company.  Our first products were rangehoods, and then waste disposals.
 
Over the years we have been the FIRST to do many things...
 

• ¾ HP waste disposals (most were 1/2HP at the time)

• Designer drainers - solving the 'one-bowl-in-island-unit' problem

• Roller Mats - and square rod ones -   allowing you to use your sink as a draining board

• Insulated sinks

• Designer overflows

• Handmade sinks (they were all pressed at that stage)

• Sink Stations - using your sink as additional bench space,  and the concept of a smaller sink inside a big one 

• Deeper sinks - common depth was around 180 and our standard was 220-250 deep

• Went from a standard 3 speed rangehood to 5 speeds

• Illumahoods and ceiling rangehoods were introduced to New Zealand by Ikon

 
In our early days we had only 5 sinks in our range.
 
Now we stock over 100 different sinks, 28 different rangehood models, and a variety of taps  - including instant hot water taps.
 
Over the years we have exported our products to Fiji, Rarotonga, Australia, and Canada, to name a few.

With service being our priority, our customers keep coming back - and our products don't.
